First Recorded Marsquake "Rocks" Old Red, Sounds Hauntingly Beautiful.

Insight Lander has been privy to the happenings of seismic activity on Mars, and the audio is haunting.

Analysis from the Seismic Experiment for Interior Structure (SEIS) instrument has confirmed that the inner planet is the origin of the activity and not external activity such as wind, or tectonic plates as Mars has none.

The SEIS on Mars

The importance of audio in tremors and seismic activity is the frequency will give us an insight into the planet's interior. Only no one expected it to sound like the background noise in a Kubrick film.

Interestingly enough, the signature of the Marsquake is not too different from that of a Moonquake and NASA are excited to find the commonalities between the two.

Don't forget to tag a friend and share to spread ARSE as we push into the deep unknown.
